Kacha sona under 2g can be tested with 0.50 accuracy. Below 2g, ornaments are outside the machine's confidence range.
Hollow ornaments won't work.
Anything with an internal air pocket throws the displacement off. If it rattles, if it's puffed — it's not for this machine.
Remove stones and meena.
Enamel work, diamonds, and gemstones displace liquid differently from gold. Remove them first, or test only the metal.
Calibrate weekly with pure gold.
A weekly calibration with a known 24k reference keeps the machine honest. It takes a minute. It matters more than you think.
Recalibrate when weather shifts.
